At Wells Transport we offer a tailored packing service to suit your needs. Should you choose this option, Tom would visit your home to determine your exact packing requirements and provide a bespoke quotation.

We take great care in your belongings and we believe that no matter the value, the item is always treated in the same careful manner. To ensure the security of your possessions we use double walled removal boxes, wardrobe cartons, bubble wrap, tissue paper and lastly thick tape and pens to secure and label each box we pack.

 Should you require the long or short term storage of your items we can help with this at our facility in located Bells Yew Green.

Far cheaper than the large companies prices and tucked away in the woodland, our customers have been delighted with this new and convenient storage option.

We can collect and deliver your items whether they be bought from a shop or require moving from one house to another. One of our biggest clients are Marks and Spencer for whom we frequently make deliveries.

Specialist Items
We also specialise in the transportation of pianos and motorbikes, which many other companies will not undertake due to the difficulty and weight of such an item.

By using specialist equipment such as ratchet straps and microfiber coverings, and using our many years expertise in the transport of these often awkward, delicate and heavy items, we are entirely comfortable safely housing and transporting these goods in out well equipped vehicles.

Do I need to do the packing myself?

Why can’t I get an online quote like other firms?

At Wells Transport we can provide a full packing service. This entails the supply of all materials needed to keep your items safe and sound. Alternatively if you wish to pack yourself then we can just supply you with the boxes etc. required or you can source your own.

If I provide my own boxes can you pack them?

If you provide your own boxes for us to pack we cannot be held responsible for any breakages. We use specialist thick double walled boxes to avoid breakages and their quality is paramount to your move.

Here at Wells Transport we pride ourselves on our personable service and tailoring our services to requirements. Although it may sound easier to get an online quote, it is much more preferable to meet our clients and get a feel for a home and its contents prior to moving. In my experience online quotes are very vague and often very inaccurate, after all the last thing you want on your move is a few guys that you've never met turn up to do your removal only to find out the van isn't big enough or they haven't brought enough men. Call us old-school, but this is the only way we like to go about our business.

Are you insured?

Is there anything I need to do?

Apart from moving things in and out of the loft and un-plumbing the washing machine and cooker, Wells Transport are insured for every other conceivable mishap. We have Public Liability insurance in case anyone is hurt during the move and also Goods In Transit insurance should one of your items get broken.  We are proud to play by the rules and would not attempt a removal without either.

What days do you work, can I move on a Sunday?

Wells Transport work seven days a week, it is no problem to do a job at the weekend including Sunday

What if I don’t have a definite completion date?

If you are yet to have a confirmed completion day do not fret! Tom will pencil in a selection of days for in and around the date you may have been given, and again unlike many other companies Wells Transport will not charge you a deposit for each day you pencil in. We like to communicate with our customers and will do everything in our power to ensure your day is covered.

Do I need to be there?

If we are packing your house you are more than welcome to go out for the day and leave us to it; once we get started we are packing machines and do not require assistance. However, on move day it is advisable to be there as we like to put items exactly where you would like them in your new house and this requires direction.

How far do you travel?

We are national and international. No job is too big nor too far away. Get in touch with Tom for a personalised quotation for your destination.

Things that you can do to help are - get everything down from loft, un-plumb the washing machine from the water mains and gas cooker from the gas mains. It’s essential that you carry out these three things yourself  - because we are not qualified plumbers or gas engineers naturally our insurance would not cover a gas or water leak, nor if we were to fall through the ceiling!  Everything else we will take care of for you. It’s a really good idea to have a de-clutter and a clear out before you move, so that you are only moving the things you want and not the things you don’t!

When do I have to pay and how?

Many removal companies require a deposit prior to moving. Here at Wells Transport we are different, we like to be paid on completion of the job. This is on the day; we accept cash and bank transfer.

Can you move something for me that I can’t see listed on your specialist items section?

If you can't see an item on our specialist list that you require moving then just ask Tom. Just because it isn't on the list it doesn't mean we can't move it, it just means that we may not have moved one yet and therefore cannot call ourselves specialists.

How do you make sure my items are not damaged?

To prevent damage to any items Wells Transport provide and use top quality supplies such as double walled boxes, bubble wrap, tissue paper and tape. We also provide fully trained staff to move your items correctly to avoid any damage.
